AB : Acrobatics

27
Keep in mind, I’m a bit older, and a lot more broken than I used to be.  So, in this area, and some of the other physical areas.   I’ll talk about my experiences as I grew and then tell you how I’ve continued practicing in spite of my injuries, of which there are several.
Let’s just count those, and get those out of the way.  -See Rehabilitation-
I was first put into gymnastics when I was a wee little kid.   Mostly it was just hanging from  bars and rolling around on the mat.  But it was good for getting used to flipping and rolling around.
Now.
I try not to run long distances or jump around too much.   I can't walk properly for days after.  Age creeps up on ya like that.
My coaches in high school were amazing -See: wrestling- and I've translated that into coping with the pains of my injuries.  Doing what I can.
And to those of you saying "Well I've known you for years and I've never seen anything like that." (See : -magic-) "Superman doesn't wear a cape when he's Clark Kent" after all.

Be.
Handicapable.

Ask a deaf person how quiet it gets when they first walk into a room.
Ask a blind person how still it gets.

Anyways.
Think silk rope dancing.
But with heavy construction ropes and trees  while wearing wilderness survival gear instead of silk sheets, loops in the ceiling, and leotards.
Also throw in slacklining and free climbing for shits and giggles and it’ll give you an idea of how I have kept in shape for several...several...years.

Currently : I’m in the process of testing out the functions of this slightly older frame and adjusting my expectations accordingly.
