Filipin the Table

Trying to find words to write, needing to really go over the things I've already written and to find an editor for such nonsense.

But again, it goes back to needing to pay an editor.

Making art is a long and laborious process.
Writing, for me, is easy...ish.
Writing something coherent is what takes the work.

Listening to the words of the world.
Seeing the movement of the wind.
Feeling the warmth of light.
Tasting the coldness of water.

The grind is going back over those same words a million and a half times until they not only are coherent but are actually worth listening to.

Yeah...I know.
There is a difference between imparting information and creating something enjoyable...but hell.
Why not both?

One of the things I'm looking at currently is how to protect artists looking for a medium to experiment with and creators receiving recognition for their work.

Tik Tok as a service, regardless of data concerns on the security front, is a good model for those sorts of things.  Though some of the sounds are obviously coming from questionable sources, by and large it is fan appreciation and acting/cosplay exercises.

Acting v Cosplay

Acting is taking a role and embodying it to entertain.

Cosplay, I would argue, is more an expression of idealism.

An actor would say "I played this role and was paid for it."

A cosplayer would say
"I am a fan of this character or property and have invested money into it and this is my expression of my love"

Anyways, just some random morning thoughts to get he fingers stretched before sending out some e-mails that actually require my coherence to respond to.
