Here's the funny thing about that situation.
I feel like that if we had stayed within the spirit of the united nations and the W.H.O, which is to catch and contain and treat health outbreaks of various sorts, that the question of any nation offering assistance or aid when a new illness presents.
Illness, with a global economy and a travel time to less than 24 hours for global circumnavigation, is a global issue and regardless of political situations it was agreed in the Geneva Convention that biological warfare was outlawed.
Hence a biological threat would now, regardless of origin, be considered a global scale natural disaster.
How should we, as a nation, respond to a natural disaster.
That is the question before us now.
